Sanford Werfel Studios was founded by wood and bronze sculpture Artist and Sculptor Sanford Werfel In 1968. Sandy ushered in a new era in Bronze Garden Sculptures and Donor Recognition sculpture with his unique, hand carved Trees of Life and Wall Sculptures. As Sandy eases into retirement, that tradition is being carried on by Artist and Master Carver, Richard Teller. Richard studied under Sculptors Roger Shipley and John Bogle as well as Master Craftsman Paul Neufer before joining Werfel studios in 1984.

Bronze Garden Sculptures | Bronze Sculpture Artists - Richard Teller

Richard applies all he has learned from Sandy in their twenty six years together coupled with his own style, to create one of a kind Donor Recognition Walls and custom bronze garden sculptures. Richard lives with his wife Eva in a restored 1887 Victorian home in Hightstown New Jersey. They have two sons; Jim, currently serving in the United States Marine Corps and Jesse, who is entering the first grade and showing signs of artistic talent.
