How To Use Your Sculpture
SIMPLE STEPS TO CREATE YOUR SCULPTURE
After your needs and preferences are determined, we will submit a sequence of drawings for your review and approval. The drawing procedure moves from a preliminary drawing showing composition and sculpture design to an in-scale drawing detailing dimensions, materials and all recognition elements.
At each stage the design is carefully reviewed with you. Material and finish samples are submitted after approval of the in-scale drawing. When the preliminary and in-scale are approved, a full-size drawing of the sculpture is submitted for review and approval. Only when you approve the full-size drawing does work begin on your sculpture.
Most sculpture commissions are completed within 3 to 5 months from final approval of the full-size drawing.
COMPENSATION SCHEDULES
Upon your approval of the detailed sculpture proposal, PAYMENT A, 40% of the proposal cost is due. With your approval of the full-size detailed drawing, PAYMENT B, 40% is due. Then work begins on your sculpture. The delivery 'clock' does not begin to run until all details are approved and carving or casting material have been selected; if you have a shorter-than-normal time frame or a specific deadline, we will spare no effort to meet your requested date. The balance of 20% is due upon delivery of your sculpture. We will be happy to work with you on any aspect of your sculpture recognition project.
